1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information when you use PDF Suite:

1.1 Account Information

When your account is created (by our team on your behalf), we store your email address and a hashed password. We may also record your business name and contact details you provide to us during onboarding. We do not store credit card or payment information on our servers — billing is handled personally and outside the platform.

1.2 Usage Data

We automatically collect certain technical information when you use PDF Suite, including:

• IP address and approximate geographic location (city/country level)
• Browser type and version, operating system
• Pages visited and features used within the tool
• Date and time of access
• Session duration

This data is used solely for security monitoring, debugging, and improving the service.

1.3 PDF Upload Data

When you upload a PDF, we temporarily store the file on our servers to process it. Please see Section 4 (Uploaded PDF Files) for full details on how this is handled.

1.4 Contact Form Submissions

If you contact us through our contact form or email, we store your name, email address, and the content of your message to respond to you and for record-keeping purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To provide and operate the service — authenticating your account, processing your PDF uploads, returning filtered results, and enabling downloads.
• To communicate with you — responding to support requests, notifying you about service changes, or sharing billing details as agreed.
• To improve the product — understanding how features are used, diagnosing errors, and making the tool more reliable.
• To ensure security — detecting unauthorised access, monitoring for abuse, and maintaining system integrity.
• To comply with legal obligations — retaining records as required by applicable Indian law.

We do not use your data for advertising, behavioural profiling, or any purpose beyond operating and improving PDF Suite.

3. Data Storage and Security

PDF Suite is hosted on servers located in India or within jurisdictions that provide adequate data protection standards. We implement the following security measures:

• Passwords are stored as salted cryptographic hashes (bcrypt). We never store plain-text passwords.
• All data in transit is encrypted using TLS/HTTPS.
• Access to production systems is restricted to authorised team members.
• Log files are periodically purged and do not contain sensitive user data.

While we take reasonable precautions to protect your data, no system is completely immune to security threats. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to contact us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account.

4. Uploaded PDF Files

When you upload a Meesho label PDF to PDF Suite:

• The file is temporarily stored on our server for the duration of processing (typically a few seconds to a few minutes for large files).
• After processing, the original upload file is scheduled for deletion. Generated output PDFs (filtered downloads) are stored temporarily — typically for up to 1 hour — to allow re-downloading, then deleted automatically.
• Extracted metadata (AWB numbers, order numbers, SKU codes, addresses) may be stored in our database linked to your account for dashboard history and packing tracker functionality. This data is not shared with third parties.
• You can request deletion of your stored order data at any time by contacting us at pdf@techseventeen.com.

Please be aware that Meesho label PDFs contain customer delivery addresses and personal data. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and process this data under applicable privacy laws.

5. Cookies and Session Data

PDF Suite uses the following types of cookies and local storage:

5.1 Essential Session Cookies

We use HTTP-only session cookies to maintain your logged-in state. These cookies are necessary for the service to function and do not track your activity across other websites. They expire when you log out or after a period of inactivity.

5.2 Browser Session Storage

We use browser sessionStorage to temporarily cache your last PDF analysis results within your current browser session. This data lives entirely in your browser and is not transmitted to our servers beyond the initial analysis.

5.3 No Third-Party Tracking Cookies

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party tracking or advertising cookies. We do not place persistent tracking cookies on your device.

6. Third-Party Services

PDF Suite operates primarily with self-hosted infrastructure. We do not embed third-party scripts on our pages. Where we use third-party services, these are limited to:

• Hosting provider — our server infrastructure provider processes network-level data (IP addresses, bandwidth usage) in accordance with their own privacy policy.
• Email — if we send you transactional emails, they are sent through a secure email provider. We do not use bulk marketing email platforms.

We do not share your personal data with any third party for commercial, marketing, or advertising purposes.

7. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, except in the following limited circumstances:

• Legal requirements — if required by law, court order, or government authority under applicable Indian law (including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules thereunder).
• Protection of rights — if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of PDF Suite, our users, or the public.
• Business transfer — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our business, your information may be transferred to the acquiring entity, subject to the same privacy protections described in this policy.

8. Your Rights and Data Requests

You have the following rights regarding your personal data held by PDF Suite:

• Access — you may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction — you may request correction of inaccurate personal data.
• Deletion — you may request deletion of your account and associated personal data. Please note that some information may need to be retained for legal compliance purposes.
• Data portability — you may request your extracted order data in a structured, machine-readable format (CSV).
• Withdrawal of consent — where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time by contacting us.

9. Children's Privacy

PDF Suite is a business tool intended for use by adults operating commercial supplier accounts on Meesho. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or service features. When we make significant changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Where appropriate, we will notify active users via email.

Continued use of PDF Suite after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
